Dynamic text hyperlinks not working in DrmWvr

Hey there,

Can someone please supply an answer to this one? I bet it’s simple, but it’s bugging me out!

I have dynamic text box created in flash MX whose hyperlinks will not activate when inserted in DrmWvr. The little hand comes up as if to say it’s all hunky dory but no new page opens when clicked.

I have rendered the text as HTML and even gone through the relevant tutorial in Kirupa, but no joy. When i put the source file from the Kirupa tutorial into a dreamweaver document the same issue occured which makes me think it’s something I need to do in Dreamweaver itself.

Anyone?

Dreamweaver doesn’t have anything to do with the links in the .swf not working. Its more than likely the code you have for the buttons.

Thanks for your response.

The links actually work when previewed in Flash so I don’t reckon the prob is in the code - it’s only when the .swf is put into Dreamweaver that everything goes awry.

I can send you the file if you reckon you might be able to sort it?

send in the file including the htm page.

I have just tried this myself and it doesn’t work for me on my local machine - for this to work they must be on a server - which I have also tried.

this works fine - but not when i test it in a browser directly from dreamweaver.
