Could some body tell me why my dynamic text box with text in it shows the text when viewed in flash player and also when published and viewed in html but when it does not work in Dreamweaver?
so when u press f12 and you preview your dreamweaver page you don’t see your dynamic text? where are you loading your text from?
the text is in text1.swf which is loaded into the main.swf transition. every else shows except the dynamic text.
right but is the text from an external text file ?
no its not from an external text file
ok so if the instance name of your textbox is myText for example
go to a frame and type
myText.text="Digitalosophy is the coolest guy around"
what happens?
Digitalosophy i think i have got u confused. it’s like this main.swf is the main movie that has a preloader transition that when clicked on a button will load external text1.swf movie into it which in this text1.swf text is in a dynamic text box that wont show when played in Dreamweaver. but it will play everything else ecept the text.
