It’s really not anything fancy. Simple dynamic text. It works when testing it in FlashMX, and it works when I play it in Dreamweaver. But when I preview it in a browser, the dynamic text doesn’t show up. It doesn’t show up when I upload it to a site, either. Any ideas?
please post the fla so we can take a look.
Also, is your source file in the same directory as your published file?
I actually figured this one out…I was publishing it as swf file, which I was adding into an html page. This wasn’t working. When I published it instead as a html page, it worked. Thanks for the reply though. I appreciate it.
I stand corrected…once I uploaded it I have the same problem.

I’m relatively new to Flash, so it’s real simple at the moment.
This is how it actually turns out when I upload it:
try embedding the fotn/characters into the text box.
click the text box, in the propertiesbox click character, and
select “All Characters.” =)
That was the first thing I tried. It didn’t help.
Does anyone have any ideas?
