Working on a dynamic tool tip class and I’ve hit a road block. Before I begin however I want you to be able to see where I am at so take a look at the SWF in the attached zip file.
Ok so I have made a pretty basic and dynamically generated tool tip class but I wish to take it a few steps further and allow for more of a customizable aspect to it. One thing I would really like is to allow the tool tip box itself to resize to the content being displayed, be it text as it is now or maybe a graphic later on etc.
So i know i can dynamically resize it but how do i go about keep the corners rounded? How would i make sure the “carrot” is always above the mouse and in the middle of the box?
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. When I am finished with it I will upload the complete fla and as files for your enjoyment and use. also just mouse over the different blue boxes to get the tool tip.
