Yeah…I’m starting to go jogging around my neighborhood nowadays to get in shape. The problem is I can never make up my mind about using my Zune or not to use it…And then it gets worse when I all I have is a stupid belt clip on which it pulls my shorts down when I jog and I can never get those earbud type headphones to stay in my ear when I’m running about. I was thinking about buying one of those armband thingies for my zune80, but there’s still the issue of the headphones, and whether I even need the music of not. As it is, I barely get any nature exposure anyway…
What do you guys do when you go jogging? Music or not? What kind of headphones, and how do you keep that ■■■■ mp3 player tucked in? Maybe, I should borrow my mom’s Sans Clip I bought her.
I’ve been running every morning for the last I dunno… 5 years or so. I started the same way, with music and struggled to find the best kind of earbud headphones so I wouldn’t have to adjust etc… I think it’s just a matter of finding a pair that you actually have to put inside your ear properly. The ‘in your ear’ ones are surprisingly good and they never fall out when you’re running around.
Just bear in mind, if you’re a ‘heavier’ guy, the above armstrap prolly won’t be good. It’s pretty small, even at the maximum setting it’s pretty tight
Arm strap that thing on there. I myself don’t listen to music while I’m running… but most of the other people at the gym do.
Or just buy one of those cheap media player clips. The only hold like a 3 cds but it enough for running.
Yea the ipod ones won’t stay in your ear while running that well so look into the ones that go into your ear I have a nice pair that were only 30 or get the ones sekasi mentioned they look nice.

Yeah, this is the help I was looking for! Well, I tried wearing my Sennheiser Headphones…but they’re actual headphones, though they’re really small since they fold over. I was thinking of getting some Bang and Oflson Earphones or something similar with something to prevent it from falling out. I’ve seen people running around with real headphones before…but I feel that’s kinda silly and the headphones themselves must smell real bad afterwards. But yeah, I’m going to definitly see what armstraps they have.
Thanks guys
Also, random question…where do you guys wrap the extra headphone cable around? I tried putting behind my back…and it worked okay…but still got in the way when I’m running lol…

I tie a knot and stuff the slack in my pocket.
