Stupid Question everyone will laugh at but is it possible to import an image, and then edit it in flash. So an image say of a face and then cutting round that image in flash with the rubber tool?

Rubber tool? Flash isn’t an image editor. You could technically bring in an image and create a mask around it to remove background, but you’re going to be much better off using an actual image editor and then saving as a PNG and importing that.
