Electron Geek

People please answer my question.
Were could i get tutorials on cinema i looked forever

I have no idea!
Electrongeek would be the first one on my list of people knowing that!

wow, I go away for a few hours and this thread is over flowing with questions. :!:

Ok first off…

Bulldog: When you want to render your work out to a particular format, you have to click on the Render settings button which is located on your top command palette next to the blue cube primitive button. Once you clicked on it, a pop up window will appear, select output first and you can enter in the dimensions you want. Next click on Save and there is a drop down menu you can use to select the format you want. I attached an image to show you where these things I’m talking about are located.

Morse: All the tracks on my site are downloaded from flashkit, I have fruityloops as well, but I suck at it and haven’t been able to make any decent music. :-\

Thanks that helped a little bit more…
But when i do that and choose my path and format along with deminsens it doesent save were the path is.

HHMMM strange

Once you selected your path, it doesn’t save right away once you click OK. You have to render your image out then it will save, the render button is right next to the Render settings button.

Click on it once and a render window will pop open, give it a few seconds and it will render your work out and automatically save to the path you have set.

You can also manually save the rendered piece after it finishes rendering. On that pop up window, there is save features in the upper left hand corner as well.

Thanks EG see i found a couple tutorials and one was about Mountains.Making a snowy mountain so i said christmas is over and changed my meterial to regular rocky mountains and this is what i made …

Cinema is alot better than swift3-D alot.

Hey that’s a good start Bulldog.

I think Swift 3D is better for the web, but Cinema 4D is better for other modeling applications like video games or movies. I only use Cinema 4D to create static images for the web, but as far as animations for the web, I’ll go with Swift 3D.

Cool.I agree.
Swift is good in animation But how would i be able to animate in Cinema,
Like were is the animation sectio somthing like that

There are 2 ways to do it in Cinema 4D, but since you’re new at it, I’ll show you the easier way. Animating in C4D is similar to animating in Flash, well as far as setting up the timeline that is.
You’re going to be using keyframes here as well.

On the bottom you’ll see a blue slider and to your right there are some control buttons.

The first thing you need to do is set up a keyframe to start out so click on the red circle where the controls are to set a keyframe.

Next use the slider and move to another desired frame down the timeline. Make the change in your stage, move the object to where ever you want, then click on the red circle again to set another keyframe and that’s it.

Now you can test it out by using the play controls marked as green. I attached another image to help you better.

LOL, so did you get it? I tried my best to simplify it as much as possible.

You asked me how to animate which to me is considered not an easy task to explain over a forum, but I hope you got it. =)

I absoululy understood it.

Im doin another tut and have no idea how o add a hyperNurbs thing.PLease elp me i need it

I’m about to go to school soon so I can’t post up an image of where the hyper nurb is, but I can tell you that it’s on the top command pallete, move 3 spaces to the left of the blue cube and you’ll find where all the nurbs are and the hyper nurb is the one that looks like a wireframe cube with a redish square in the center.

Here’s a tip, when moving your mouse over the tools, look at the bottom left corner of your screen, it will display the name of each tool or object for you. Hope that helps. =)
