Alright, just wondering, with a transistor-transistor logic gate IC, such as a 7404 Hex Not gate, do the input or output terminals have polarity, i.e. can the input be either positive or negative, and the IC still work? see below.
Would that circuit work, in terms of polarity for both IC’s I know the 2nd IC isn’t connected to a load, but in terms of polarity, can the polarity of an IC for the input / output be swapped.
Here is my ACTUAL design that I want to use, I should be able to answer all questions in terms of the functionality that I want to achieve if you wish to know what I want it to do.
