Embedding fonts question (ah the old times ay?)

I did a search on this and found huge numbers of threads on the subject, most fairly old… (I think - I didn’t pay much attention to the dates, I must admit…) anyway,
is there a way to find out if Sui Generis is “built for flash”, I mean is there some kind of checker tool or something?
because when I try to embed the font I lose the B’s and the D’s (they dont fill in as was suggested in another thread with a different font) they just dont render… nor do numbers, J’s or W’s (all uppercase)
I’ve tried embedding “all”, “only” (and selecting all the checkboxes) and to no avail… as far as I’m aware it’s because this font wasn’t designed for flash… can anybody confirm this for me before I disregard it?

Prophet.

PS also, they are located on whole number x and y values yes :stuck_out_tongue:

I tryed and it looks ok on my flash. I also think that Sui Generis isnt a pixel font, so you dont have to use whole numbers for x, y. I found out that this font was created in 2000, thats why I dont think is a pixel font.
Even it isn`t a p.f. you could try MX 2004. All ordinary fonts looks much better at small sizes in 2004.

it looks ok…?
wat wen u embed it as well?
coz it looks fine up until i try embedding it… then it screws up…

Prophet.

PS i got it from: http://www.sketchpad.net/s13.htm

Is normal for a non pixel font to blur when you embed him in MX. That`s why I told to use MX2004. Sorry, there is no other way…
