I was hired to design a new website for a danish jewelry design company called Erik Graugaard. They do italian style designed jewelry - their speciality is wedding rings.
I did the design and flash part. Everything is CMS powered. The client is able to upload new images for every slide-show on the page, and change how many seconds interval between each slide.
We don’t have anything to do with the photos displayed on the website. I say this because the first photo on the website sucks!
The structure could be a little more well thought out, but that’s not saying it’s well put together. I like it, but the nav on the bottom is a little hard to read.
I think it would be nice if you separated your primary large image from the gradient background behind it. It seems almost every image uses that same background, and if the jewerly was a PNG fading over the background I think that would help. I guess it just bothers me when it crossfades to brown and blends with the rest of the site. Keep it white!
Other than that I think its nicely done, menu works well and the color scheme is looking good.
