I could only get into Taobot and that was nice although I couldn’t discern a purpose to the website. I kept trying to get into the murder room or to try to bend over and kiss the receptionist, but it wouldn’t let me! Doh! The one Kirupa gave looked more promising but this is what happened; I wait and wait for the slow progress bar which stopped several times for a good long while, then when it was finally done I need to reload once again because it just hung there at 100%. So I reload. Then it prompts me for a password at which time I am starting to get a little pissed because they have just wasted a lot of my time for nothing. I am at this time, NOT going to go backwards and repeat steps to jump through their hoops and retrieve a password that they should have ALREADY told me I needed. The message they send to people like me is that my time is worth nothing to them and that their website is so terrific I should be willing to do anything just to get inside. (I say try again) Am I wrong? I mean at the time it was going on 8-10 minutes just to gain entrance into their site. They seem to shoot themselves in the foot with these type tactics. And for what? An e-mail address!! Am I too negative or what? How much time should go by before I say just another waste of time? I mean it looked really cool but is it worth taking 20 minutes time just to get in? Thats the important question that I am asking without trying to sound negative. With Kirupa it took me about 2 minutes to sign up and get in. Habot Hotel had already soaked me for close to 10 without me ever getting closer to the front door. Maybe Im a moron and I am assuming that is all this will turn out to be but I went back to Habbohotel and spent 10 or 15 minutes trying to figure out just how to register. Then when I exhausted all other links, conditions, terms, yada, yada, tried to press Go. Nothing this time except a grey screen, not even the load bar I had before. I have shockwave so thats not the problem. Is it me or did somene make it hard to register at that site and get going? I still don’t even have a clue as to how that might be done. Not a clue and I dont think there are any links I missed, so Arggggggg, as Charlie Brown would say. But it looked as good as you and kirupa have said after reading through everything to be honest. I’m with you on that, Phil.\r\rI saw this site about a month or so ago and just couldn’t bother with that mackie-mack. The last thing I need is to be on another e-mailing list and have another password that I’ll forget should I even visit a second time.\r\rI hope the future of the Internet is more content, less administration. It’s a shame web developers don’t realize this…correction…management/marketing doesn’t realize this.\r\r\rt2d

Strange…\r\rWell, click on “Let’s Go” first and a new window will pop up. In this new window, click on “You can create one here”. It should give you step by step instructions from here on, but I’d imagine your real problem was with the part where it says “Connecting” a whole lot. Basically, you need a good modem to run that site.
Upon a second Habbo test I discovered that sometimes it just doesn’t connect at all, no matter how good your modem is. I’m pretty sure this is because all the rooms are filled up. Try using it at a time when the target audience (teens in the U.K.) are all asleep.
