Excessive Math Homework

200 of those ?? I bet you can sue her for that.

hint: theres a little useful program called derive :stuck_out_tongue:

btw: what is the worst thing that can happen if you just don’t do it

If you ever pursue math in college, it’s kind of funny to learn that the “math” you’ve been doing ever since grade school isn’t really math at all…It’s just preparing you for the real stuff!

It’s kind of sad, but I know that I’ve spent 10+ hours working on 4 problems for an assignment before. I wouldn’t mind spending 10+ hours on 200 problems…you have no idea how frustrating it is just to sit and stare at a blank piece of paper trying to figure out the answer to a problem.

My advice: Don’t get too discourgaged. I remember some “unreasonable” assignments in high school as well. You’re teacher is just trying to prepare you for college

He was in 8th grade and will be in 9th next term.

For example, Trig Functions of 20 questions would be reasonable whereas if 200 questions of trinominals would be resoanble and not of calculus. Could someone explain to me why some topics are done but are not even needed?

I think they do it just to see if u can handle it but it doesnt have all that much real use…

Well, i did it all. And it feels so good.

did u just have to ‘simplify’ or actually find out the values of a,b,c, etc…
