Anybody had any experience with it?

Yea, I’ve got a little bit of experience with it. I’d say go for it. If you’re looking for a wide support base then you’re probably better off with a different CMS, but the good news is that recently it became CodeIgniter dependant. That means that if you can learn CodeIgniter (very easy to learn with [URL=“http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/”]GREAT documentation), then you can extend ExpressionEngine just as easily (they’re both [URL=“http://ellislab.com/”]EllisLab products).
Cool, I’ll give it a shot… I’m not as worried about the user base if it’s well-documented and well-built.
I’m just about to build some sites using WordPress, and I’ve been looking into some other CMS’s. The open-source free ones are of course enticing, but they seem to all have some annoying drawbacks. I’m not worried about paying a couple hundred for a good one if it saves me a lot of time and puts out a better site.
