i am making some simple photos display by using flash and simple xml, and eventually i want this to become a cd rom…(very basic one,tutorials from somewhere sorry i cant remember where if not i will post the tutorial links.)
my folder looks like this:
Art - main.swf, cat1,cat2,cat3,cat4,cat5 (folder Art has main.swf and then 5 folders which is “cat1,cat2,cat3,cat4,cat5”)
inside folder cat1,there is: cat1.swf , cat1.xml and some images that uses xml to display
inside folder cat2,there is: cat2.swf , cat2.xml and some images that uses xml to display
inside folder cat3,there is: cat3.swf , cat3.xml and some images that uses xml to display
inside folder cat4,there is: cat4.swf , cat4.xml and some images that uses xml to display
inside folder cat5,there is: cat5.swf , cat5.xml and some images that uses xml to display
now, when i click on the main.swf i can load the cat1.swf or cat2.swf or cat3.swf or cat4.swf or cat5.swf (i use load movie num to do this)
the cat1.swf will load images by xml,now when i call main.swf,it will load cat1.swf,but my images which will load by
xml cant load anymore and the error mistake is:
Error opening URL “file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/kooysiewna/Desktop/Art/cat1.xml” (i realised that the folder name cat1 is not in it, cos the path should be Art/cat1/cat1.xml)
hmm…when i inside the folder cat1,i click on the cat.swf itself,i can yes see my images displaying.
is anyone knows why?would appreciate the help!
