im a noob flasher and i´ve been working on a random site for some pictures and other stuff made by me.
it´s the first one i like myself so i´d like some good feedback on it, and some suggestions maybe? 
its not totally done yet, still needs some work, but i´d like to wait with that until i get some feedback.

Not likin it. You have a rounded rectangle shape with some bevel and emboss. Looks like you didn’t spend much time on it.

I agree with Dj though, the site is too plain and basic. There’s not enough happening. Also, what’s with the sort of gashed writing in the title? It looks like it got messed up in the tilting process.
Try to put more colour and style into the design. Make it more personal. On the plus side I do kinda like the polaroid theme.

I think your tag (fun designs and other stuff) has a couple of problems. First, fun designs doesn’t seem to go at all with the style of images you’ve selected. They’re very dark and macabre. Second, other stuff, I don’t know, doesn’t sound very professional, but maybe that’s not what you’re going for. The splash is way too empty and doesn’t really spark any interest. Lastly I’m not a huge fan of the background color. I like how you’ve tried to make everything off-axis, there are very few right angles, but I think the site would benefit from some more extensive design work and polishing by means of static layout.
Yea I’m not feelin’ this one either. I especially didn’t like the enter button. I mean I thought by clicking on the link I would be entering your site…stupid me I guess. :lol:
I agree with what was said about the rounded corners and I’d also like to see another colour for your main box, that brown isn’t very flattering imo.

i made it very simple and stuff, cause i dont wanna do anything big that i would just end up correcting all the time… its just a small sample… the other things i´ve done were dumb and irritating… i kept it simple , and as u say " unproffesional " cause im nowhere near a pro…
also, there´s no bevel, no emboss…
made it with shadows and glows and a lil brushing…
didnt take that much time, right about that one…
and i still haven´t gotten into flash that much, but i will try to look into it, and make a lil more to it, dif colours and stuff. thx for the feedback its useful.
i´ve got a lot of interesting ideas, jus dont have the scripting to make it real…
so that will come in the future…
so next time i post, i´ll post something new then

I dunno, I kinda liked it myself. I noticed it wasn’t an emboss by the way heh. Anyway, what I liked was the weird angles. Matched the whole picture theme you had going. Maybe try to liven in up by putting some textures on your background. That’s a simple way to add more life and not make it too complex.

one of the others said the light colours didn´t match the darker pictures, and thats true, so i thought… why not make the whole thing darker, use some more time on the design and make a lil creepy looking, so thats what i´m working on now…
