Hi everyone,
I recently updated a flash file which needed a few screenshots in it replaced (it was a demo for a site, and the site layout had to be changed, so the demo had to be updated with new screenshots).
Now, this was originally written in flash 5, and edited in MX, and about 100 screenshots were just deleted and pasted over, etc etc… it went through a lot of torture.
After i had finish updating it, the filesize went from a few hundred kb to a few mb. I’m wondering if somoene can suggest simple ways of knocking down as much of this filesize as possible. Will removing unused library entries help? I’d think that they wouldn’t be included in the file if they aren’t used and the movie is compiled to a SWF…
