Thats what I would like to know because I have come accross none…
The only thing that I noticed is that it might show a table centred while it is loading then move it over to the left/right etc… Its not a bug, its just the order inwhich it loads things… fine by me…
I got my new notebook yesterday! Also I wasn’t a firefox fan from the first second i used it, it is kind of annoying if you type ctrl-T and it your browser dosn’t do anything useful.
if you’re either
not really used to a browser,
like experimenting,
hate microsoft,
hate the IE,
have few system ressources,
like browsing several sites the same time,
or have too much time: try firefox
if you are used to IE and like it or just prefer to see any site displayed correctly: stay with IE
I would still like to see an ftp program in firefox
I just started using SP2 for awhile, and although it’s got a popup stopper, and intergrated search (firefox features copies :upset: ) it still cant compare to firefox.
the google search box in the top right is much less cluttering than the mega msn/google toolbars, and integrated google search is a much better option than integrated msn search. so far, i haven’t been able to get what i want by right clicking highlighted text and selecting “msn search”, unlike in firefox.
an example on how much google pwnz msn search, is when i tried searching for ‘spybot’ (that ad removal software). instead of something to kill my spyware, msn gave me a spyware to use on my friend’s computer. how nice. whereas for google…“The home of Spybot-S&D!” came up top. and the next. and well the next few were all more or less related.
SP2’s popup stopper isn’t too bad, it wins firefox’s in that a bar will appear notifying you of the popup/download and you can then click on that bar if you really want the popup. another thing that bugs me in firefox is its javascript capabilities. some javascripts down work too well with ff.
however, firefox still kicks IE with tabbed browsing. I read a thread around here with someone disliking firefox and saying that tabbed browsing is no big deal since we’ve got a window’s taskbar, but the thing about tabbed browsing is that you can just hit the scroll/middle button on a link and it opens up in a new tab instantly. in IE you have to right click and select the appropriate option, and opening a new window takes time to load. likewise, ctrl+t to open a new tab is faster than ctrl+n.
oh, dont forget aliases in ff. makes it a lot easier for me to search up on words i dont know (‘dict word’ will search dictionary.com for ‘word’).
however, as ff’s address bar seems to be sensitive to leaving behind everything you type in, these aliases may clutter it up abit more.

Sweet you just made my life that little bit better…
I have yet to have FF crash on me, which I have had IE do plenty of times… Mind you when I am reseaching something I can have 10-20 Pages open at a time, and I end up streaching the taskbar so I can see what each page is.
It also gets cluttered when downloading a number of things, as they each have their own window where as FF has its own download manager, so only 1 neat window…
(also while you can pause downloads; as long as you dont’ close it, its a shame you can’t resume like in DAP)
Only one bug i have found with Mozilla, i guess its not a bug but anyway, with MSN 6.2 when im logged in if i click check email on the top of my contact list then it still opens Internet Explorer!!!
They need to fix Firefox so its more intergratable with MSN Messenger.

That sounds like it’s not related to Firefox. It’s MSN that has the bug there I would say. It should recognize what your default browser is and open that. You do have Firefox set as your default browser, right? If so it would be a bug with MSN.
