First Flash Only Design

I’ve been learning Flash over the past couple of months, and I completed most of the work on my site. I still have a couple of sections to work on, namely the Portfolio section but I’d love to hear what Flash pros think of it.

I went for a clean, smooth look to the site. I also plan on adding a bit more ambient music to complete the experience. I would like to make more use of ActionScript to do some of the motion, but I have yet to find a good tutorial that will explain how to use loops to create natural motion-where things has noticable acceleration and deceleration properties.

Any suggestions are welcome and greatly appeciated!

The layout and everything looks good to me. I wouldn’t really change much except maybe the loading screen and also work on your transitions. Maybe fade the pictures together so the seam between them doesn’t show? Keep it up man!

Nice site. On the main page, the news goes from 8/1/03 to 7/29/03, then it repeats the 8/1/03 about 10 more times.

Nice site specially if it’s ur first one:thumb:
I like the design and how the navigation’s set up all clean :). And I liked your services section too. The site overall looks good there only a few minor things that I didn’t like. The white text in the portfolio is hard to read because of the white background. I would also recommend that you make the boxes in the contact section a little bit more visible so it sort of stick out. Since you said it’s not compeletely finished I am not sure if this is right or not but I would also add a home link some where since I didn’t find any way back to the home. An other thing that I thinkcan be changed is the splash page. It looks really nice and slick but the purpose of a splash page is to inform the people and since you are informing the viewer that the site uses flash. If it’s done in flash there is no way for some one who doesn’t have it installed to check. I am only saying this because I didn’t see a flash detection script or any thing like that. These are the things that I think you could reconsider other than that it’s nice and has a professional look into it. keep up the good work.
