Hi everyone, this is a problem I have had and dismissed in the past but need a solution for now. I do a lot of slideshow presentations in flash and have images panning and scanning across the screen. These presentations are all self running so there isn’t too much interactivity with them. The problem I am having is that the images I use, typically jpegs, have a tendancy to kind of vibrate, jitter, or shake when they move across the screen. All of the images that move on screen have been converted to graphics and have been set to “allow smoothing”. I also tried reducing the opacity, because I remember that problem from when I was back in school going from 0-99% because 100% would make images jump. I also notice that sometimes, while an image is moving, smoothly, part of it will seem to almost fold. It looks like it lags a little and then fixes it self, but looks really, REALLY ugly on screen when everything else is running smoothly. Reducing the opacity doesn’t fix the issue, slowing the animation (tween distance, not frame rate) has worked a little, but really limits the amount of the photo that can be shown.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks, Jeremiah
