Flash 8 backward compatibility

Hey,
I want to know if a .fla saved in Flash 8 can be opened in Flash MX 2004 and Flash MX.

Also a .fla file save in MX 2004 format can be opened in Flash 8.

I don’t have flash 8 rt now and want to check if the files i made in flash mx 2004 will open in flash 8 or not?

you can open mx2004 files in flash 8 but you cannot save files in flash 8 format and open them in flash mx2004

Yeah but you can save them in the Flash2004MX format from flash8 and open them in flash2004mx.

And you will be able to open all old version .fla in flash8
