Hello Everyone,
Last night I posted the following in this forum:
Hello Everyone,
I am currently working on a website for my baseball team and it’s coming along pretty well until today. I am trying to make the player profiles scroll from left to right within a movie clip. That movie clip also plays within another movie clip which is the main content of the website. I have it working for the most part, but when the clip loads my scrolling profiles the start down outside of the defined area…
I know this is probably not much help, but I am willing to send you my flash files for you to look at and possibly help me correct the problem. If there is anyone out the who can help me, please feel free to e-mail me.
I appreciate any and all help from anyone.
Today I saw that 25 people had viewed my post without responding. When I saw that I realized that maybe my original post was a bit vague. I also didn’t realize that I could attach my files for others to evaluate and offer potential help.
Anyway, I have attached the files to this e-mail. The first file, lvdmaintest.fla, is the main content of the site. Within the site there are buttons which load the content for the corresponding buttons. I tried attaching the flash files for the home button, lvdhome.fla, and the team button, lvdteam.fla, but they exceed the limits of this forum. I am having trouble with the lvdteam.fla file.
Here is the problem. The lvdteam.fla displays the profile of each of the players on my baseball team. I have designed the profiles to scroll left and right with the movement of the viewers mouse. The lvdteam.fla movie should load after the viewer clicks on the team button and should display within the specified container, lvdmaintest.fla. However, when I test the lvdteam.fla file by itself, the movie plays properly. When I play the lvdteam.fla file within the lvdmaintest.fla file, the lvdteam.fla plays incorrectly. It actually displays down toward the bottom of the screen…
Is there anyone out there who can take a look at these files and help? Since I can’t upload my files here I will gladly e-mail them to whoever can help me out. So, please let me know.
Thanks,
Kelly
