Flash detection script

Hi folk,

Went through flash detection tutorial on this site.

Problem is when I open the page with the flash content, instead of re-directing to a page with a ‘No Flash Player detected Page’, I get the ‘Download Flash Player from Macromedia’ dialog box come up.

I would prefer to have my no flash page come up instead. Since intranet visitors are weary of responding to a download dialog box.

Any help much appreciated.

In Flash go to File/Publish Settings.

Click on the HTML tab…

In the drop down box next to “Template” choose “Flash Only” then publish the file that way and use the embed code from that exported file.

I believe this should work, it should take off Flash’s detection so you won’t get that download pop-up.
