Flash player is plugins or problem?

upgrading to flash player 9… is browser’s plugins or freeware downloads?

i need ur views.

i have completed one site… using flash+php+css+html(div)+some png. Now the site is complete.
And ceo was not able to view site properly, just because of not having flash player 9 installed.
When he was told to installed latest flash player, he said he don’t wanna do that. Because that is freeware software… and downloading that is bit risky. As it is freeware, so there is risk of spyware and virus along with that…

So here my question is flash player is plug ins or freeware downloads. As far as i know its a browser’s plug ins.

Now here what do i say to my client?

Its a legitimate plugin lol. Just tell him to install it, and that 98% of all computers have it.

Nothing more to say than that. It would be the same thing if a user has JS turned off.

i have said many times… but he just wanna listen to his… technical person. they have rule inside their office they can not download anything… as it is risk for the sypwares and virus.

Just tell him he won’t be able to view the site, but everyone else in the world will be able to. Or tell him to look at it when he gets home.

Your client fails epically… but that not your fault. You did tell him it was going to be a flash site right and he agreed to it?
