Flash publish size

Hey guys and gals,

Im not sure Im posting this in the right forum, but it feels like a random question…And I am a bit of a random sort of person…
Anywho Im one of those 1 in a million people who use a screen resolution of 1680 x 1050, I just love the pixelation of everyones site… kind of entrancing hehe… I go a bit crazed though when I visit those flash sites which are about the size of a javascript alert box for me and im looking for the OK and then I realise its someones flash site… and I know you’re probably thinking “change your screen res fool”. I say ‘no’ because my comp complains that its not default res…

Oh yeah thats right, my question:

lol, definitely not 1680x1050 :stuck_out_tongue:

ideally nothing bigger than 800x600 to maximize compatibility for most users and their resolutions.

publishing for 800x600 is the norm afaik… though quite a few websites are making a move to a minimum res of 1024x768

(and for the record, we won’t abuse you for it being in the right or wrong forum… but can we abuse you for not searching for this question? since it’s been asked a few billion times before? :P)

yer allright point taken asphalt, even I shouldnt have posted this question now I think about it.:stuck_out_tongue: .Im trippin on sleep deprevation, do the maths and work out the time difference between Australia and England… its creppin on to 1.30am here and ive been sitting infront of flash for a full day.:hangover: .
