Ok. In the flash menu, when the user rolls the mouse over the button, i want it to continue to fade out the color. I’ve attached my .swf file, and here is the example that I am aiming towards.

There’s nothing you can do with the swf. You need the FLA. You appear to have retrieved these buttons from FlashButtons.com - those are not customisable, because all they do is provide an SWF.
I made these buttons. The one from the site are just an example.
