Hi,
I was trying to create a banner ad which requires flipping of various images inside the banner.
The challenge goes like this:
The ad size is 970/178 and there are 30 grids or blocks inside the banner. Each grid/block has one image and the animation required is to randomly spin each grid/block individually to show a new image. The spin happens vertically, its like holding a piece of paper and spinning it in such a way that the portion which is in front actually goes back and the portion which is behind initially comes to the front.
Well it sounds simple but when I tried doing it, Flash 8 was not letting me animate the spin movement of the images. I tried animating each grid/block by converting them into individual movie clips but still it didnt work. I had to manually create each keyframe with different images to show spin movement. If spinning each image takes 6 keyframes then I need to create 6 different images with different angles (including perspective view). There there are 30 grids/blocks, so in total I will get 30*6=180 images (file size will be in MBs) which I think will not work on my local system also forget about running it as a web ad
The challenge is to keep the file size mighty low and achieve this since its a web ad banner.
Can anyone please help me out with this?
Regards,
Praveen
