Hey everyone,
I’ve run into some problems while trying to format my pc. I have the original XP Professional CD right here, but my CD-drive won’t read it (nor will it read any other CD or DVD, it’s broken apparently (even thought device management tells me it’s fine)). Basically, is there anyway I can format my pc and re-install XP Pro, without needing the CD? If this can be done, I won’t even need the CD-drive, I haven’t used it in the past 5 years (never had to)
If it can’t be done without the CD, how do I find out what the problem is with my cd-drive? It’s a LITE-ON LDW851S, and I’ve got the latest drivers installed.
