We’re the award-winning interactive group of a large agency with offices in Los Angeles and New York City. We are looking for a senior developer for our, Los Angeles office, to work on many of our various efforts for major clients, which include a major automaker and professional sports league. Most projects require high-end Flash and various rich media talent. We seek someone who is very well versed all types of rich media and specifically in Flash Actionscript programming. You should be able to see the big picture behind complex projects and finding elegant, effective solutions.
Various other skills include some video work, experience with sound and animation controllers. Working familiarity with FLV, MP3, JPEG, PNG preparation and integration. PHP, and MySQL development and integration is a must.
While we’re looking for your ideas, your input and your footprint, you must be able to work with existing code and previously written code.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead developer on key projects.
• Identify technical requirements and necessary resource allocation.
• Help manage junior developers and external resources.
• Attend to day-to-day project schedules and code releases.
MUST HAVES
• 5+ years development experience
• Experience in Flash-based application development (and can prove it).
• Solid Action Script skills, not just timeline development (and can prove it).
• Prior work with top clients (and can prove it).
• Exposure to and understanding of AS3 / Flex 2 / Flash 9 environments.
• Additional experience with PHP and/or .NET, MySQL and/or SQL Server, as well as Linux environments.
• Thorough knowledge of source code control systems and development methodologies.
GREAT-TO-HAVE
• Professional experience with AS3 / Flash 9 / Cake
• Professional experience with Flex 2 / MXML
• A sense of humor.
• Some design sense.
