Description
Animax Entertainment http://www.animaxent.com, an Emmy winning digital
production studio based in Los Angeles and expanding to Toronto, needs
several full-time Flash ActionScript programmers and Game Developers. This
is a coder / programmer position. You’ll be working on cutting edge
entertainment related rich internet applications:
- single and multiplayer online games
- virtual worlds and mmogs
- interactive marketing applications
- video players
- facebook apps and social widgets
You should be conversant in AS 2 and ideally have some experience with AS 3
and an interest in Adobe AIR. Ideally you have a Computer Science degree /
OOP background.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in developing Internet applications
and Flash based games utilizing Flash, PHP, and XML - 3+ years of development experience with Adobe Flash; experience with
multi-user environments preferred - ElectroServer, Smart Fox, Red5, media
server, etc. - Experience with source version control software and use of relational
databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). - Experience with Adobe Flex and Papervision a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
