hey omni, I do like your entry very much but, does the symbol on top of the logotype have any meaning? or purpose?

well the deadline looms closer and there are many folks that do not have ther entries in. The voting begins tomorrow so have all of your entries in tonight. I still have a couple of entries with no screen name. I will not add those so be warned.

shriek, notbeinguseful (contrary to his namesake) hit the nail on the head. The symbol is meant to mimic the stamp Kanji calligraphers place on their pieces as a signature. Plus, it brings in a bit of an oriental pattern influence.
Oh yeah, and it’s a ‘G’. 
I find it helps to read the name in a cheesey Japanese sensei voice. Heheh.
