Good file size?

I realize theirs sevral variables, who are your clients going to be, how extensive is the site etc. But for a full flash site, what kind of file size should i be shooting for, just for the interface and a few images. I want to be selfish and use photoshop to creat the effects instead of spending five more minutes in flash, aka put more bitmaps in the GUI

Anything above half a meg up front has to really kick some serious *** to justify it’s existence.

Again, totally personal. I just think it’s very unprofessional when you’re forced to up-front load two megs or something equally ridiculous. :confused:
