can try this forum…

Try this host. Great features for low price. I’m in the process of switching my host to them. uplinkearth.com. Very fast help response.

Good and Free does not go together.
Sure there are free hosting services that give you cgi/bin access.
but if you really want a decent hosting service, you’re gonna have to pay some money.
Unless you need the bare minimal storage space, uptime and bandwidth limit - you should definitely go with a paid service.

There are many hosting plans that are really cheap these days.

(also, the netfirms free hosting places a banner on the top of your page. [e.g. geocities] although there are ways to get rid of it via javascript )

I think you are right about this enyceexgloboi.
Well I though they give you low size like 25 mb or 20 and you will get cgi and php…etc but hmm !
its better buying one !

is http://www.mediatemple.net good !

Kirupa is using it !

media temple is great!. It is one of the most popular webhosting provider. A majority of the design firms host their site on mediatemple.

If you’re just posting your personal portfolio, I wouldn’t recommend them though. They are a little costly.
Maybe once your site starts receiving heavy traffic and the need for storage increases, you can migrate to mediatemple.
But for now, you can find cheaper places.

If you can afford $15-$20 a month, you can go for mediatemple…
I also recommend
HOSTWAY . (I use them for our corporate website)

Just search around, and I’m sure you’ll be able to find an affordable plan that suits you.

try fateback.com
i’m pretty sure they give 50 megs for free with no ads and all sorts of features, although i’m not sure which ones…
also, devisland.net has 10 free megs with no ads and i’m pretty sure they have cgi, php, mysql, and all that good stuff…but you have to ask around and check their pages!
