For the first time since I was 12, I just saw Gwar live at the Norva, with Cradle of Filth and CKY. It was awesome, my girl’s face was covered in blue stuff that sprayed out of a zombie’s severed arm. I wore a hoodie and thus avoided most of the fake blood/pus/mucus/??? that flew out into the crowd.
It was part of the ‘Viva la bands’ tour, Bam Margera’s parents were there but I didn’t see him. CKY was okay, they had a crappy stage presence and a bad attitude about playing. Cradle was okay, but definitely not what they used to be. It was worth the $35 to see Gwar, and had a night out with ol’ girl, so I’m happy. :hugegrin:
