Yeah…especially that level with circular rooms, bridges, circular rooms, more bridges, more circular rooms… It’s a whole friggin’ copy-pastage with different monster/item placement. And it was Halo, in all of it’s glory, with vehicular madness and open spaces, which brought that pile of DUNG-ish level design in my lap.
Luckily, my version was one in the kind of “hacks cracks and bigmacs”, not the one you have to sell your soul to buy… (Ever read the full EndUserLiscenceAgreement? nah-hah!)
Oh - so the Halo PC’s level design is different than the one for the XBOX? Either way, I’ll simply wait the two years and get Halo 2 for the PC, though I hope they do a better job making the game not lag for the PC.
The graphics, while great, lagged a bit too much on my comp while a PC game such as UT2k4 (besides the stupid loading time) looked and ran great at almost all the settings on max on my 9600Pro gfx card.
I thought only the multiplayer maps were different?
Nah, I just can’t get used to playing with a controler. I like my keyboard+mouse combo. :love: But yeah, I guess I can wait… Maybe… heart begins to beat irregularly

Halo is MEANT for the mouse.

None of the maps are different. Single player is inch for inch the same game, 6 new multiplayer maps were included along with slight modifications to the Xboxes existing maps (ie. Bungie wanted Sidewinder’s teleporters to be two-way)
I see… plus, the addition of Banshees in Multiplayer, that’s one more thing they added to the PC version.
I had Halo 1 the day it came out. I remember grinch and I were battling to see who would beat it first 
(i did of course).
I havent gotten Halo for PC, dont think i will either though.
