Just by chance, I happened to be browsing through the city newspaper’s Twitter account, and found a link to this gallery, where I saw myself:
http://www.austin360.com/calendar/mediahub/media/slideshow/index.jsp?tId=113469
(photo #10 )
Considering this is the first gallery I’ve viewed on the site in months, that’s pretty weird that I saw myself.
Yay!
It must have been taken fairly far away, because I never saw any photographer near me.
Yeah, the one that looks really confused.

They best be giving you royalties.
Unfortunately, no; I just saw the photo by chance.
I don’t think they’re really obligated to be giving me royalties, though.

They took your picture and are advertising with it? (buy this photo?) who in the hell said they could sell your photo thats grounds to sue to me
You can take a photo of anything in public, and the person who took the photo owns the rights to it, not the people in the photo.
Is that your mom?

It’s a photo of him at a public event that he attended. It has journalistic merit, and they have every right to do whatever they please with it. They’re not using it for advertising at all, they’re selling prints of it.
Yep … and I love your edit message.

They modified the Kirupa Gallery for the gallery. The preload bar is original
I like the guy in picture 2 & 20, looks like “My name is Earl” 's distant cousin.
Photo 56, looks like that guy just got his milk duds stolen.
I thought Texas only had Steers and …, anyway some nice looking ladies.
I was in Austin for a while, great place, lots of activities and adventures.
