I don’t know about everyone else but I tend to stay well away from wav files. If you can’t find it in MP3 and you must use the sound then I would use the wav but other than that they are just too distorted or too big to use. Just my thoughts though:)
It still sounds terrible…:(…I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Is the specifications under the date and time supposed to be the same cause mine says 5 kHz Mono 8 bit 8.2 s 45.3 Kb. I know the last part is the size of my file so that won’t be the same as yours, obviously.
And that is what I did. I followed your screen capture exactly but it still doesn’t work. I am sure there is something missing that I am not doing right. This is what I have:

If it says what you said in blue, then you haven’t got the settings correct. Also, hit f1, read what it says about the sound properties. If you aren’t using a .wav to start with, you could have problems there.
Without a .fla, it is difficult to know exactly what the prob is…
It’s perfect! Now would you mind telling me how you managed to do that?? What was I missing in the original file I sent you other than the stop(); function you put on a separate layer?
I am sorry to be such a pain but I have tried deleting it from the original file that I still have on my computer and then reimporting it but it still sounds terrible. Are you sure that is all you did or was there something you set in the Sound panel under Effect or Sync? Just a thought…when I create a new layer for the sound I added a keyframe of where I wanted the sound to start. That is what I am supposed to do, right?
