Hey guys, I’m new here and teaching myself Flash. Anyway I am redesigning my website completely in Flash, using MX 2004. The format of the new flash site is such that it has a horizontal menu bar up top, with buttons that drop down for more options and then more specific options appear in another bar on the bottom. These buttons will open things like essays and articles and hopefully thumbnail photogalleries in the middle of the page. My problem is I don’t know the best way to have the essays and whatnot appear between the two bars. I’ve been fairly unsuccessful with scrollbars, and straight text doesn’t scroll so the text is running right off the bottom of the page. As I mentioned, in the future I am planning on having thumbnail galleries up there too for my photography and artwork, but right now I’m interested in just getting my written work up there since I think that is going to be a bit (or a lot) easier.
Here’s the site in progress, hopefully you can kind of see where I am trying to go with it. Essentialy imagine the buttons on the bottom leading to text box in the middle filled with the articles:

PS - the only buttons with dropdown menus are Essays, Artwork and Photography. The rest open up windows which are blank right now.
