see the FLA:
rollOver button 1 and it should light up. rollOver 2 and it should light up both 1 and 2. the problem i am having is when you rollover one side the other side should check to see if the other is on and react accordingly. rollOver 1 and continue the mouse movement horizontally to the 2 and you will see the flicker of the movement. i want to fix that. THANKS!
maybe i need to better explain what i am trying to do. or maybe this is really simple and i am just totally missing the logic.
one large movie clip with 2 smaller ones in it.
the clips make up a button with 2 hit areas. (left and right)
when you roll over the left i want it to light up.
when you roll over the right i want both to light up.
when you roll from the left onto the right i do not want the left light again, but instead know that it is already turned on and stay that way until a roll out.
that make more sense?
when i click on the right side i am having it open a movie. next to the button.
as long as that movie is open i would like the right side of the button to stay lit. even if you go and rollover another one of the buttons. any ideas on that?
wanted to post again so as to maybe get some more help on this from some kind soul.
