Hi. First of all - great site with wonderful tutorials. I’m glad to see there is an active community here, too.
I’m using flash mx 2004. I’m adopting the newsticker tutorial on this site (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/newsticker.htm) to a personal project. I’ve made slight alterations and am now needing assistance.
Instead of one news headline showing up, I have a headline AND a lead-in sentence. Sometimes my headline is two lines long and that is where I’m having problems.
I’d like my lead-in sentence’s distance from the headline to be consistent. I’m not sure how to have a dynamic placement of my lead-in sentence. To see what I mean, and also see my source files, please look at my problem in more detail here: http://www.tonywhitesites.com/newsticker
