Help?!?!?!?

Hi I just recently bought Flash MX and I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I’M DOING.

I want to create little videos and fun things

i.e. the videos on newgrounds or 8-bit theatre

I was wanting someone to give me some basic starters

like how to take and image and then make it move across the screen and maybe shoot a fireball

if I could only start there I could go on but I just right now its all greek to me, I’m good with programming other things so this isnt just some complete computer illiterate asking for help I know my way around quite well, just not FLASH,

so please someone reading this, look inside you and find the non-Flash programmer you once were and sympathize with me on this

Why don’t you start with the basic tutorials on this site, they should give you a nice introduction to what MX can do and if you have any questions as you go then post them here.

Well if you just want to do animations, that is little to no programming at all.

It is all basic Motion and Shape Tweens.

I know this site have a few tutorials that involve tweening, like a fading text tutorial. But you can start by learning about those.

The tutorials provided with the program are a big help too.
