Hip-Hop Group Design?

Can anyone help me out with a new design for a hip-hop / R&B group
I have a site for them now… http://www.sublogicmusic.com
but its kinda plain and dull… not the look for a music group
Anyone have any good ideas for a layout or overall good design for these guys?
maybe listen to the music samples in there to here what kinda music it is?

what I would say do is research other sites from the same biz…right now that site says more kenny g…the hip hop…High contrast colors usally give off the essence of energy…like black, orange…high contrast. Look at the source site. Also try to be a lil descriptive in your writing after all that is what hip hop is. I am doing a hip hop site next…I have been doing much research, but it helps that is what i listen to.

It is a nice start tho.

i like the layout but i agree with ddd the color needs changing. make sure the colors are contrasting but not clashing cuz i see a lot of hip hop sites with these crazy bright colors and it looks awful. but i do think you have a good start

The emblem needs a TOTAL makeover, the edges are jaged and it is now very atractive at the moment. So I would work on that.

The whole site looks a little n00b but I am not sure of your expirence in Flash so I won’t say anymore on the subject. :p:

As DDD said, for Hip-Hop the colors are going right with the type of site you are trying to create.

I don’t really like the page color fade when you mouse something (or maybe just at random not sure) .

I think you need some more graphics (Like PS or 3D) then solids and gradients.

I recommend you look at some hip-hop album covers. And i’m not sure what kind of hip-hop you style you guys got so I’ll just recommend a site or two: The Roots I think this site is badass. Okay, and you might want to try: MTV[URL=http://mtv.com/]MTV just for some design ideas and anything with that eighties look is pretty cool too.
