Hlp with flash/dreamweaver site

and wat to do to fix it

ok i will have to look closer at it becuase i can’t see at the moment.

i will post back soon with an answer

firsth thing i noticed was it is very big, you could do with loading external .swf

http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/full_site.htm

second it looks fine apart from the HOME button and when you press up for the film strip to jumps not sildes like when it’s going down

it works ok on my explorer

i even uploaded it to my server to show you

i increased the Framerate on mine.

works fine apart from the home button

looks good

hw did u get it to wrk on your IE

i just pressed publish

i did not change any settings and when you publish it gives you a HTML file in the same folder as the .fla and .swf and you just press that

and you didnt put the swf in the images folder?

which file do u put in dreamweaver, the swf fla or html?

neither just double click the HTML file

it is already made for you flash does it when you publish. there is no need to even open dreamweaver unless you want to change the HTML tags.

wat if i am using dreamweaver to upload?

upload what

you need only to add the.swf and the HTML files to the server.

i have never upload with dreamweaver i don’t understand what you mean

don’t you have an FTP

if i pay for a domain name, will they provide an ftp?

and wat is up wit the home button can u help me out wit that?

do you have a server

a place to upload you files on the net

and do you have the account info

where am i supposed to put the action, each time i put the home button on a scene or just when editing the home button itself

i got the ftp down, i just need hlp wit the home button

becuase the movie is to deep rooted it will take some time before i find it

i am off to bed soon so i will help you out until i crash out… you’ve got me started now:)

i just need to find why the home button doesnt work

do you want to to make the picture dissapear and go back to Frame one on you main timeline

since your whole site is in flash, you apply it to the flash movie you made.
