How can I use the snow effect in my flash bar?

Hello!

I have a navigation bar for my website, and I want to try and use the falling snow effect (from the tutorials on kirupa) for the background of it.

What i’d like to do is have a falling snow effect just on the background of the top portion

Is this possible? What steps do I need to take to get this started? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

What i’m looking to do is integrate the falling snow only into the background of the top panel of my navigation panel. I followed the tutorial to make the snow, but how do i get it to be inside a specific area?

I built the navigation bar myself, there is no tutorial to follow for that.

I don’t think you are following what i’m saying.

Of course i am. You are trying to recreate the snow effect on your navigation movie. So instead of starting the tutorial from a blank movie, start from your own navigation fla.
