I’ve studied a little French too… although not THAT much… anyway… I’m glad you’re taking pride in your ancestoral culture. Are you really part French? If so…Then take pride in that… I believe that France is more cultured than Japan… coming from a half Chinese standpoint of course. While France had done awful things to China what JAPAN had done was true barbarism. Their actions were reminiscent to that of the Mongols…
BTW: I myself am not part French… But my school did not offer German, or Chinese and English was alread covered (I am in fact part British)… so I took what I believed was the most cultured of the languages offered… French.

My hate for Japan has nothing to do with race nor does it have to do anything with ethnicity… it is largely a cultural and historical bias.
No, I didnt call you an insolent pig because of that, I just get mad when people get mad at me for just saying one word in a different culture. The Japenese, I believe, also oppressed the Korean at one point in history, ( and I am a quarter Korean ) but I hold no gruges for past offences.
