How do I make soemthing like this? (Very Basic)

I’m a beginner so I only know of a long and painful way of makign the outer cirlcle in this picture. Forget the shading and everything…just the basic shape of the outer most circle. See trhe way its open and has 2 curved edges? Any thoughts?
