Say I want to make a button. So I do one up in Photoshop, save it as a PNG and import it into Flash and convert it to a button symbol. It looks completely fine in Flash, but then when I test the movie it’s nearly always stretched 1 pixel. In fact, it actually adds a row 1 pixel wide, or high, to the button/image. It doesn’t seem to matter if I make it a GIF or JPG or increase the quality of both the original image or the Flash movie. Some times it doesn’t do it. For example, I could do the process I did above for 5 buttons in the same Flash movie and 2 will come out as I designed them whereas 3, or the majority, come out munted.
What do I do? It looks crappy and unprofessional when it adds that extra pixel.
