I’m hoping someone out there can help me, when i import a small image (including pngs) into flash (mx), then convert it into a button, flash distorts the image making the text in it appear stretched and distorted - with some images (bigger ones) this doesnt happen.
Does this happen to anyone else? and is it possible to fix as it’s particularly annoying when making minimalist sites.

try tracing the bitmaps and always position everything on full pixels. So instead of x=37.3 —> x=37
might help…

I’ve been looking for a solution to this all day! Doing both suggestions solved it- I had to put a 1 pixel transparent border (either a GIF or PNG) AND place at least ONE of the GIFs on the stage not as a button, but as a graphic.
I’d say this is a flash error that needs fixed.
