Hi well its been over a month now that I have been reading up on flash and still no go. I just can figure it out I just cant seem to put it all together is there something I’m missing? can you guys tell me what is the first thing you do when you plan a web site?
I have backgrounds buttons sounds layouts I’m using flash mx2004 but how to put it together? can someone help me out thanks :puzzled:

Identify the audience if the first thing you need to do. If you don’t know who you’re building the site for, then you don’t know how you should go about building it.
Identify the audience, then based on who that audience is, you’ll know what to do from there - what theme, colors, content you need.

well I no i will have the audience i have everything but to put it together .
If you’re just starting out then it might be easier to keep it simple.
I would then suggest setting it up using scenes, rather than worrying about loading movies or trying to cram it all into 1 scene.
Make your homepage how you want it with your links and navigation buttons in place.
Once you have done that you can just duplicate scene to make as many as you need. Ie home | contact | portfolio |
Once you have done this all you will have to do is change the content of each of the scenes with the information you want.
yes, when you very new to flash the whole program is way out there and you don t know nothing, where to put this and that.
If you are serious makeing your planned site in flash, it it simple for a start. Nothing flashy, just like html where you press on a button and info just comes up. Not like any transitions in between. You may need to read further but make sure you set everything in order or evrything will stuff up.
