How is this effect made? I have been looking for this for some time but no clues

2 options

  1. make the image into a MovieClip and set its alpha to 0 in the first keyframe of your animation and to 100 at the last

  2. put a layer over the layer with the image, make a white shape in the new layer, covert it to a MovieClip, set its alpha to 0 in the first keyframe of your animation and to 100 at the last

ps. you can set the alpha of a movieclip in the properties panel

it is not as simlpe as it looks… there are no alpha channels in the file. pl see the source

i want to learn this. i tried asking many flash pro’s but they dont seem to know. pl see the attached fla file

that is a quite good photo… interested

search for image blur / burn in the forum somewhere, i’m pretty sure there’s a source file / turorial under Souce Files / Experiments. It’s just an image burn that plays with the RGB levels of the jpg or whatever you have loaded into flash - Chris
