I was just interested in knowing how much is the average salary for a web designer?. And how much would a freelance webdesigner make per site?.

i think the average pay per hour of a webdesigner is 10 bucks the hour as to as how much does a freelancer gets paid for website is diffrent, in my case i charge html webpages at 50 bucks the hour flash 75 the hour art design at 25 the hour 3d animations and design at 125 the hour so you see it all comes down to estimating how many hours you take to make a website always estimate at least 5 to 10 hours over just to be on the safe side and never underestimate or you will lose money and waste alot of time or you can charge per fraction of the hour like i do what you do is divide the price by 4 and the result is the price for each 15 minutes you waste working on any given task

No way it’s that low. At my current job, I get 15 an hour, and that’s REALLY low…
if you’re a free lancer, with no experience, 10 an hour is the best you’ll get. But the average is around 20-25
wow 25 per hour **** i gotta get out of here 10 the hour over here is like pretty high then again im in Puerto Rico and if i would get paid 25 the hour i would be filthy rich lol
depends on what city; the tax; and the infaltion rate of that area…and the demographics…i charge 50 per html and 75 per dynamic…and it depends on the extent of the work done…
i would say starting salary for web design as a job would be 10-15
i’m a web editor, i do mostly only html at work, i work 25-30 hours and get paid $14/hour.
